Took my truck in for an inspection, absolutely missed 3 critical components that needed immediate attention, this was also diagnosed by 2 other mechanics in different shops. (rear brakes were 90% worn, 1 front wheel bearing completely gone, and a tie-rod end needed replacing).Miller was pointing at work on the motor that had zero to do with safety, though had a VERY hefty bill attached. Been in Okotoks long before they set up shop and will not refer or use this place again!
Terry, (Who we believe this may be) We recall your visit in June when you needed an inspection and wanted an aftermarket muffler put in your truck. Unfortunately, sometimes, we are the bearer of unfortunate news when it comes to vehicle repair but we always try to be fair and give our customer all information possible and provide multiple options and solutions. Since your inspection was in June we will only comment on what we noticed at the time it was in our shop as your brakes and ball bearing may have gotten worse at the additional inspections after ours. Both your brakes and bearing were within spec, meaning they would have passed at the time when we inspected them. We did however notice your exhaust manifold leaking which is a issue that would fail an inspection. We noted this to you and gave you a 'worst case scenario' repair cost so you could make a well-informed decision without any cost shock later. We had one of our highly experienced and top mechanic view your truck so we are extremely confident with the results of the inspection. It's unfortunate the issues were found and others subsequently, we can only speak to what we discovered during our inspection. We stand by our inspection, and we are proud of our team and the integrity of our service and repairs. We would be happy to review our notes with you again and help you with solutions if you would like.
